SCOPE OF WORK: PCG furnished all materials and labor to demolish and replace approximately 10,000 square feet of existing sidewalks throughout the parking lot of the G. V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The PCG team saw cut and removed concrete panels that had cracked, heaved or otherwise caused tripping hazards. New concrete-panel sidewalks were then formed, reinforced and poured with 3,000 PSI ready mix.
The VA also required the installation of approximately 15,000 square feet of limestone base under solar panel shade structures in the parking lot where grass would not grow. For the limestone base installation, PCG excavated approximately 4″ down into existing soil and placed non-woven geotextile fabric, topped with 610 limestone material compacted for stable pedestrian traffic.
