SCOPE OF WORK: Paramount was contracted to demolish the floor of a World War II-era boiler building floor to accommodate the new boilers at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center. The concrete was 24” thick and required saw cutting, jackhammering, and complete replacement. The new slab required #8 double mat of reinforcement bar to be installed to support the weight of the new boilers.
PCG self-performed all these items, plus the structural steel for the new mezzanine floor.
